Privacy Policy for OBS Driver Mobile
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how FNS, Inc. (“FNS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, protects, and discloses information in connection with the OBS Driver Mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
OBS Driver Mobile is a private business application intended only for authorized Online Brand Store delivery drivers. It is not intended for general consumer use.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Process
1. Driver Account and Authentication Information
To authenticate authorized drivers and provide access to assigned delivery work, we may process:
Driver name and driver ID
Phone number
Carrier, account unit, department, or terminal information
Mobile PIN submitted for authentication
Authentication status and access tokens
Account and session information
The application does not store your PIN on the mobile device for biometric sign-in. Authentication credentials are transmitted to FNS systems for verification, and PIN records may be maintained in protected or encrypted form within authorized enterprise systems.
2. Route and Delivery Activity
The Services process operational information required to perform and document delivery work, including:
Assigned routes, vehicles, workdays, and delivery stops
Warehouse loading confirmation
Departure, arrival, delivery, and Work Done status
Date and time of operational updates
Delivery notes and finalization records
Required-document status and delivery history
These records are linked to the authenticated driver and the assigned route or delivery.
3. Documents, Photos, and Incident Reports
When you choose to capture, select, or submit content, we may collect:
Proof-of-delivery and installation photos
Bills of lading and other delivery documents
Uploaded image or PDF files
File names, types, sizes, and upload times
Incident categories and descriptions
Incident photographs
Delivery notes and other information entered into the application
Uploaded files may contain information visible in the image or document and may also contain metadata provided by the device or selected file.
This information is stored on authorized FNS systems and is used for delivery verification, operational records, safety management, auditing, and dispute resolution.
4. Biometric Sign-In
Biometric sign-in is optional.
Fingerprint and facial recognition are performed by the device operating system. OBS Driver Mobile and FNS do not receive, collect, or store fingerprint images, facial templates, or other underlying biometric data.
When biometric sign-in is enabled:
A random device credential is stored in the device’s secure Keychain or Keystore.
The server stores a credential identifier, a protected hash of the credential secret, the associated driver ID, platform type, a general device label, and credential creation, use, expiration, or revocation timestamps.
Limited driver metadata may be stored locally to display the enrolled account.
Your PIN is not stored as part of the biometric credential.
The device operating system provides only the authentication result needed to unlock the secure credential.
5. Technical and Security Information
FNS systems may process limited technical information needed to provide and secure the Services, such as:
Session and authentication tokens
Device platform type
Request date and time
IP address and network information
Security events, error records, and server logs
We do not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Device Permissions
OBS Driver Mobile may request the following permissions:
Camera
Camera access is used to capture proof-of-delivery documents, installation evidence, and incident photographs.
Photo Library or Files
Photo-library or file access is used to select existing delivery evidence or documents for upload. The application accesses only the content selected or permitted by the user and operating system.
Face ID, Touch ID, or Fingerprint Authentication
Biometric permission is used only to protect and unlock an optional sign-in credential stored securely on the device.
You can revoke these permissions through your device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
The current application does not request access to device contacts, microphone, or precise GPS location. Location information may nevertheless be included if you voluntarily enter it in an incident description or include it in an uploaded file or photograph.
How We Use Information
We use information processed through the Services to:
Authenticate drivers and maintain secure sessions
Provide assigned route and delivery information
Record warehouse, route, and delivery events
Verify proof of delivery and required documents
Process incident reports and safety records
Support dispatch, customer service, auditing, and dispute resolution
Send operational delivery notifications to customers
Protect the security and integrity of the Services
Diagnose errors and provide technical support
Comply with contractual, regulatory, safety, and legal obligations
We do not use information collected through OBS Driver Mobile for third-party advertising, behavioral profiling, or data-broker activities.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Information may be disclosed only as necessary to:
Authorized FNS personnel and administrators
Authorized dispatch, operations, safety, and customer-service personnel
Affiliated or client organizations involved in assigned delivery operations
Approved infrastructure, storage, database, or messaging service providers
Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect safety, security, rights, or property
A successor organization in connection with a merger, reorganization, or transfer of the relevant business
Delivery and customer contact information may be transmitted to approved messaging systems for operational email, SMS, or voice notifications related to delivery status.
Service providers receiving information are required to use it only for authorized purposes and to provide appropriate protection consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
Data Storage and Security
Operational records are maintained in authorized enterprise databases and file-storage systems. Limited settings and security credentials may be stored on the device.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. These safeguards include access controls, protected authentication credentials, secure device storage, and restricted operational access.
No electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Retention and Deletion
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Provide and operate the Services
Maintain delivery, safety, and audit records
Satisfy contractual and customer requirements
Resolve disputes
Protect the security of the Services
Comply with legal, regulatory, insurance, or recordkeeping obligations
Biometric device credentials remain active until they expire, are revoked, or biometric sign-in is disabled. Related security and audit records may be retained for legitimate security and compliance purposes.
Delivery evidence, incident reports, and operational history may remain in company systems after sign-out or account deactivation when required for business, safety, audit, contractual, or legal purposes.
Because driver accounts are provisioned by authorized business systems rather than created within the application, account correction, deactivation, access, or deletion requests should be submitted to the applicable administrator or through the contact information below.
We will respond to valid requests in accordance with applicable law. Some records may not be deleted immediately when retention is required by law or for legitimate operational, safety, security, or contractual purposes.
Your Choices
You may:
Sign out to end the current application session
Disable biometric sign-in through the application settings
Revoke camera, photo-library, file, or biometric permissions through device settings
Contact FNS to request access, correction, or deletion of eligible personal information
Disabling biometric sign-in removes the locally stored credential and requests revocation of the corresponding server credential. Phone number and PIN sign-in remain available to authorized drivers.
Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking
OBS Driver Mobile does not currently include advertising networks or third-party behavioral analytics tools.
We do not track users across applications or websites for advertising purposes.
Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended only for authorized delivery personnel and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly provide accounts to children through the application.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our information practices, or applicable requirements.
Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, when appropriate, providing additional notice.
