Every little boy and girl has noticed the changes that take place in the weather. Sometimes it is wet and cold; at other times it is hot and dry. At one time the wind blows fierce and strong; at another it is gentle and pleasant; and sometimes there is a calm, that is, we cannot feel the wind blowing at all.
These changes may take place at any time, but as a rule they come only at certain parts of the year. Thos parts of the year have one sort of weather more constantly than any other are called seasons.
