Once you have all the items, you can follow these steps to program your GP340:
Install the CPS software on your computer by following the instructions on the screen.
Connect the programming cable to the radio and the computer. If you are using a RS232 cable, you will also need to connect the RIB box.
Turn on the radio and make sure it is in good condition.
Launch the CPS software and select "Read Device" from the menu. The software will read the current configuration of the radio and display it on the screen.
Make any changes you want to the configuration, such as frequency, channel, mode, feature, etc. You can use the help menu or refer to the user manual for more details on each option.
