Standard Colors and Materials
Standards are currently being updated with Reston Association to reflect currently available paints.
In addition to the rules and regulations governed by Reston Association (RA), each cluster is responsible for maintaining it’s own design standards. This web site will present all Oak Spring Cluster-specific design standards. The cluster board has the authority to submit change requests to the standards to the RA Design Review Board, and thereby change or add to the design standards.
For any project that is not covered by the cluster standards, you need to submit an application to Reston Association Design Review Board. Please use this form:
To move your project forward, you can speak with any board member directly, send them an email, or attend the next board meeting. The date for the meetings will be posted on this website and on a sign near the entrance to the cluster. You can also call the RA cluster covenants adviser at (703) 435-6530.
Note: the standards below are currently being updated. We will update Facebook and Twitter indicating when the new standards have been approved.
