Special Education

Our goal is to ensure that we are cultivating local and diverse aspiring Special Education Teachers who will act as the hub of support and services for students with disabilities at their school sites, ensuring an asset based, resourceful, and healing centered approach to serving as an Education Specialist.

We support Teacher Residents while they earn an Education Specialist Credential, plus a Master's in Special Education, from Alder GSE while working in OUSD for at least 4 years.
