Welcome to FL-091! I am Royce Collins, Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) I am the youngest of 9 children born and raised here in Orlando, and furthermore, I am a lifelong resident to one of Orlando’s historic neighborhoods named Richmond Heights. I went to Eccleston & Hiawassee elementary, Carver middle school and I am a proud member of Oak Ridge high school’s class of 1984. In April of 1986 I joined the US Air Force in which I served on active duty for 24 years. I have been stationed in: California, Japan, Kentucky, Florida & New Jersey. I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Since retiring from the Air Force in 2010, I’ve taught JROTC for: 2 years at Christian County High School, Hopkinsville, KY and prior to Oak Ridge, I taught 6 years at Orlando’s Colonial High School.

I have been married to my wife Audrey for 31 years, we have two sons Brandon and Daniel, and 1 grand-daughter; Audrianna, & a Yorkie named "Tiger". My hobbies and interests are; family, John Deere mowers and Florida Gator athletics. I am a person hoping to somehow, someway, influence the lives of our youth and teaching provides the opportunity!
