Can I show you two things from my business card? For about a minute or less, and it’s not a fundraiser. My school has a YouTube channel. Inside YouTube, search OmmwStudio, all-one-word. We aim to magnify Jesus as we cover human interest, current events & history.

After about 4 minutes of  original content, if anyone new like you participates, we update only with your written consent and promote mostly word of mouth, like now, and we don’t spam. So thanks for listening and, if it's okay, in some small way, here's my helpful card.

I can briefly answer questions, or -  if you have about 10 or maybe 20 minutes at the most - could you mention some uplifting moment or breakthrough exertion for the podcast? No pressure, but dialoguing around 'how to unstuck wellness well' can be helpful for many who for whatever reason - feel 'sidelined' over time. The method I model is to start simple, test, adjust, then try, try again. Preparation like that can lead to progress and traction but if you don't plunge ahead, you'll quit before you learn from others or they ever learn from you.  And don't assume how others might respond. Even small talk wins over scrolling when the end game is respect - especially when sharing opportunity or breakthrough doesn't come easily. So how about if Where do I come from? or Where do you come from? is invited - Would you like to answer? I know how I would respond but I'm interested in voice recording your participation for the podcast, but I won't update without your written consent which you can withdraw anytime, even after publication. So for starters, as long as it's true, any answer will do - for instance: I was raised in Hope, now it's Winnipeg and in between, Vancouver and Kamloops. Digging deeper, my experience convinces me that I 'come from' a loving God who has spoken to me from His Word, the Bible and through His daily presence alongside fellowship with other believers. Later on, if  How did I get here? or How did you get here? were introduced - again, would you like to answer for the podcast, please? I'm truly interested in recording your voice with my phone now, but I won't use anything without emailing your content to you for your consent and I'll send publication notice too and if your consent is ever removed then at that moment, without delay, any content will get taken down right away. And I won't spam if I don't hear from you - but returning for now to where we were - I would probably confess that as I drove here, for better or worse, I clicked on YouTube. Digging deeper, I 'got-in-the-state' I'm in because choices I've made on purpose have corrupted the world I live in, just as surely as everyone (other than Jesus) who has ever lived. And if it all ended with Where am I going? or  Where are you going?  well - maybe you're going to google OmmwStudio later for contact info and a recap of these questions as well as this final response of mine, if I may, that my wife and I plan to retire together soon to connect more with family and others if possible. Digging deeper, I humbly admit that only because of the saving life, death and resurrection of Jesus, God embraces me as His child and faithfully leads me by His Spirit on a journey that began in a moment with a choice I'm glad I made away from condemnation that I had earned and since then I know the best is yet to come as new admissions of His grace continually move me towards His ultimate presence forever along with any other person who welcomes and trusts and owns the free-for-all good news of divine love found in the Bible.

I'd like to weave a story that raises discussion around key questions like: Where do I come from? How did I get here? and Where am I going?

I believe we 'come from' a God who still desires for us to hear and obey (apply) His voice. As we hear - and as we apply what we hear - key question clarity settles unto faith.

Faith is all we've got - and studying the good news of Jesus alone as the way the truth and the life is good news for all - except when my own inauthentic and corrupt story telling gets in the way of the divine and unchanging and eternal gospel.  So as I weave truth and grace around human interest, current events and history, I humbly pray 1 Chronicles 4:10 over my preparation and presentation: 

*Obedience and ...

'Mega' - as in God's unlimited, unstoppable power alone can do anything at anytime. 

'Merrily' - moment by moment rejoicing, no matter what.

'Weave' - God alone perfectly weaves together both 'weighty' and 'significant' realities with 'appealing' and 'trendy' and 'winsome' and 'momentary' uplifting delights and He alone constantly and appropriately and unmistakably fits and sustains us with His stability for the moment we are in and every next moment to come - world without end - He's gone ahead of all of our feelings and constraints and is ever ready to meet us where we are at with His own wearable, trademark fabric of life suitability that looms endlessly from no one else - His supply for us and for all is inexhaustible.

*O note that 'o' can mean a lot of things such as Obedience (hearing/applying) or ontology or Overall or ohanna or oikos or outlier or oar or ... 'oi vey' semiotic semantics and more. Oi yoi yoi, the list has a wisdom based and audience appropriate oddeo (as in audio) / odeo (as in rodeo) / o'deo (as in gloria in excelsis deo) circular nonetheless chaos unwinding redemptive capacity to start anywhere so as to end at the beginning for the first time again with 'at last'/lasting resolve around where I have come from and where I am to proceed even if at times things feel 'over my pay grade' the just will live by faith for without faith it is impossible to please God. It goes without saying that this approach won't be for everyone. Of course, faith if for everyone, however, in my own my tongue-twisting case, perhaps less is more, hopefully that will be the case in real life (as opposed to blog posts embedded with incessant links - mea culpe - to thine own self be true. (1 Corinthians 8:9 - see also 1 Corinthians 10:23)

'Horse with no name' - refers to a horse who has a 'branded' identity along with an underlying ongoing passion to hear anew another perfectly understood secret Relation 2:17 appelation and status stemming from, once again, Ephesians 3:21 'world without end' generative power. We can learn much about readiness for relationship from the horse who loves to go where-ever/whenever bidden. You don't have to say much to be a witness and sometimes you should just be religious and bridled until favored.

'Tractor seat theology' - But by the same token, however, if you think about things you value the most, eventually words of expression can't help but to overflow and when those words land like apples of gold in settings of silver it is a beautiful and community building thing we want to be ready for. And speaking  of readiness, let's start with Tramider (say it backwards and perhaps it sounds like Ready-mart). Say it forwards with emphasis and perhaps it sounds like a reliable diesel tractor ever so happy to get up and go. (Tur ram uh der der der der der der der red red red red red red redimart - repeat until you get your motor running and don't stop until you're in gear and traction is in deed appearing underneath your tred towards fruitful planting and helpful follow up because every in season and out of season contribution will truly bear fruit as you continue to monitor yourself and your surroundings and stay awake and and responsive towards things that you alone were intended to pursue so as to bring about opportunity and celebration now and evermore. 

Jesus said: I have chosen you to bear fruit, fruit that will last". I want to lovingly do what Jesus did, often in conversations with others. I don't want my words to run on and on and then off onto tangents. Many books could be written about what Jesus did. I can't read all of them and I certainly want to safeguard myself against producing too many words and in so doing promoting error.  I'd rather focus on more of the Spirit (Galatians 5:13-25) and walk and pray and worship with those who unite around more of the Spirit and less of self.

When centred around mega-merrily Godhead, *obesteppin' docking and **waybesteppin' trusted, fruitful, exchange becomes ongoing and transformational, rather than splashy, unbalanced and more known for lost opportunity and wary reapproach rather than hail and hearty welcome and longed for moments to find courage and relief again together, perhaps not for long but of a certain for good.
*obesteppin' when someone takes the first step to acknowledge the other as well as intimation of theodicy with respect to the omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent Godhead in the centre.
**waybesteppin' as in allowing the person you are speaking with to step away from yourself, without assigning fault to your own presentation nor to the one in withdrawal knowing that the God's Spirit is ever present and able to convict in ways we do not have facility for.
When both obesteppin and waybesteppin are done well travellers in the river of life are more likely to welcome our contact and return our hailed outreach until they also identify with and promote exchange of theological fair trade fruit like wampum for all - red and yellow black and white, they/we are all precious in His sight - Jesus loves all of us little children in the world. This is my child-like manifesto/credo: HIs requisite, free-for all grace is unsurpassed. And I hope that I can dock long enough with others for them to glimpse the Colossians 2:3 treasures of Jesus.

Bottom line - I hope that my humble witness is like one once starved soul pointing to another hungry person where they can feast on what is most fit for consumption - and that in so doing to 'unfreeze' this silent, infertile planet (so often deaf and mute around His appeal) one 'cold-call' business card encounter at a time.

So for a change, be a self-starter. Don't make excuses that you are waiting for circumstances to change or for someone to direct you. Wait upon the Lord and serve the Lord daily with all your heart and soul and strength and mind. No opportunity wasted, please. If at first you don't succeed, try something old, something new, something borrowed, something true, like resting in the Lord, and then, rinse (confess) and repeat. In everything give thanks and don't slow down for blame or regret. Lift anchors, set sails, let's go.

And/but, for heaven's sake, do Pray before speaking and do not stubbornly against reason continue off track stuck in a rut behaviour. Signal anew His Worship as you selflessly make a right leave off of any of your previous or ongoing capstan 3M (me make mess) turns and in so doing discover even more transformational rest and relationship and moreover abundant fruitfulness based on trusted eye to eye acknowledgements (I see You as You always have been and forevermore will be and - how can it be - but I know that You see me as worthy as your Son) and role to role understandings of Ecclesiastes 3 'perfection in all God's ways'/creatures before returning again and anon to works prepared in advance for us (me and the 3-in-1 and hopefully you, too - we make more) to do.
