KG SYLLABUS

Learning Objectives: Students will be able to –  Understand the letters which represent sounds and strings ofletters represent words.  Understanding the concept of rhyming words.  Understand comparison and colour code.  Separate and say sounds in words (CVC).  Read grade level appropriate sight words.  Understand similarities and differences between themselves and peers.  Know about animals and plants.  Recognize two, three, four & five letter words.  Read simple sentences.  Identify the position of words in a sentence.  Recognize that stories have beginning, middle & end.
