Bill Waterman

Dr. Bill Waterman is Associate Professor of Music at Boise State University where he teaches Tuba and is the Assistant Director of Athletic Bands. He also serves as the Principal Conductor and Music Director for the Brass Band of the Treasure Valley. His award-winning career as an educator, conductor, arranger, and performer has included collaborations with musicians and ensembles across the country, as well as a solo recital at Carnegie Hall. He was a two-time DCI Finalist with the Crossmen and was instructional staff for DCI groups and consults with various school groups across the country. He continues to be an active member in several professional organizations such as CBDNA, NAfME, the International Tuba Euphonium Association, and the North American Brass Band Association where he served three terms on the board of directors. He proudly represents the Eastman Music Company as a performing artist and educator.
