At first, when the new graphic card was laid in place, the screen was stuck on the Acer launch logo. Then I put the old GPU back to already install the driver and the Aorus Engine provided on the DVD that was in the box. After that, the new GPU was again put into place and the computer worked as usual. The GTX 1660 wasn't "activated", and still doesn't work. GeForce Experience says that it is impossible to download the recommanded driver. I tried to download the Windows 7-compatible driver (because there's no Windows 8-compatible) on Nvidia's website, but it doesn't work either.

If you use a Dell PC with either a GeForce GTX 1660 or GTX 1660 Ti video card installed, you might be unable to update the Nvidia graphics driver to the latest version and get an error message stating Nvidia installer cannot continue.

I tested both driver types on heavy 3dm files (both with GTX 960 2GB and GTX 1660Ti 6GB) and there was basically zero difference in Rhino with either of them.

Rhino 7 crashes equally with both cards with either driver while working with files larger than 2,2-2,3GB despite having 16GB RAM (4x4 DDR3). Not sure why.

If you have installed Release 270 or later GeForce/ION driver from nvidia.com, you might have installed NVIDIA Update on your PC as well. You can directly update your drivers through the Nvidia Update application on your computer. e24fc04721
