Nvidia claim its optimisations include Blender, so might have some merit for Cycles, but who knows? (@nathanletwory?). I elected to use it because I figured it might not be subject to so much development churn as the Game driver.

Yesterday somehow came to me and checked the BIOS and monitor drivers, I will add that I have the same monitor model as you (Aorus FI27Q).

I updated the BIOS because I had a really old version. The monitor drivers were also outdated, I replaced them with the F08 version, I also updated the OSD Sidekick. I must add that the monitor update had to be done on the nvidia 517.48 drivers because all the others caused the problem with the detection of the monitor.

Reporting the same problem here. 3070 TI, same Aorus monitor connected via Display Port. Reverting to the September game ready drivers everything looks fine. Update to something new and it no longer detects the monitor resolution.

I can confirm after having the same issue, with a RTX 2060 and 3 monitors FI27Q, updating the firmware from F03 to F08, and then updating the drivers again it were no longer an issue.

For the update to be possible you need to have an USB cable connected and only 1 monitor at the time when updating for it to be working correctly, takes about 5 min to update 1 monitor with new firmware.

I've been trying to udate my GPU but i can seem to find drivers on Nvidia offical site for my graphic card. I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Ti (know also as Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 Mobile). Can i use driver for Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 or Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 SUPER insted?

Nvidia proprietary graphics drivers are generally downward version compatible, sometimes with slightly less functionality. Sideways version compatible should be OK. However, when I start the game, get an error as "Detected NVIDIA GeForce driver version 471.41. The required driver version is 516.94 or later. Please update your driver using GeForce Experience or by downloading at before playing the game."

Can anyone advise if I could be able to play the game on my desktop or will have to request a refund? I tried uninstalling and reinstallation multiple versions of NVIDIA drivers, but all end up in the same result. Seems like it's mandatory to have the Graphic Driver 516.94 to play.

Seems like Quadro K6000 do not have any new drivers as it was dropped from support by NVIDIA and NFS Unbound is bloody stingy and makes it mandatory to have at least 516.94 version of GeForce drivers to let the game start.

Ran unplayably at first. 10-20 fps, if that, and sporadic laggy spikes. Graphics setting changes did nothing. Installed the GeForce drivers released yesterday, and it got SO much better. Solid 30-40 fps on high settings at 2560x1440. Haven't gone into space yet. I'll finish the tutorial when I get off from work!

Quite annoying, every time

Quite annoying, every time driver is upgraded, it resets default audio playback device from my sound card to whatever display port is connected to and I have to manually reset default back to my sound card.

Most tips online were "run nvidia-xconfig" or "install libgl", but1) I can't install anything from apt that touches nvidia, because it wants me to remove the driver installed via the run script2) I don't want to use the discrete GPU for xorg
