Welcome to NVH Testing Lab and Composite Structure Lab
NVH Testing Lab and Composite Structures Lab at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli is headed by Dr. R. Prakash, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering. The primary objective of this center is to advance research and innovation in the areas of Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) testing and composite structural analysis.
Equipped with state-of-the-art testing facilities, the lab focuses on developing experimental methods and computational models to evaluate the dynamic behavior of materials and structures. The lab actively collaborates with industries and research organizations in the fields of vibration analysis, acoustic testing, structural health monitoring, and composite material characterization to support R&D initiatives.
In addition to research, the lab trains students at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
