b) Camera Access
The App requires access to your device's camera. This access is used exclusively for the purpose of scanning product barcodes.
We do not store, save, or transmit any images or videos from your camera. The camera's feed is processed in real-time on your device to read the barcode, and that is all.
The limited information we collect is used for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the App: To enable the core functionality of scanning barcodes and saving favorites locally on your device.
To Improve the App: To understand how users interact with NutriLens, identify areas for improvement, fix bugs, and plan for new features.
To Serve Advertisements: To display ads within the App, which allows us to offer NutriLens for free.
NutriLens is a free, ad-supported application. We work with third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdMob, to display advertisements in the App.
Our ad partners may collect and use information about you, such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general location, to provide personalized ads.
We do not share any personal information with our advertising partners.

Favorites: The list of your favorite products is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this list, and it is not backed up to any server. If you uninstall the App, this data will be permanently deleted.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it as soon as possible.
