stay on your device. Photos are processed by AI for food
recognition only and are never stored on our servers.

calorie and nutrition tracking application that helps users monitor
their daily food intake and reach their health goals. This Privacy

when you use our mobile application.
By using NutriAI, you agree to the collection and use of information

2.2 Photos and Camera Access
NutriAI requests access to your device's CAMERA and PHOTO GALLERY
to enable food recognition features:
- CAMERA Permission (android.permission.CAMERA): Used ONLY when you
tap the "Camera" button to scan a meal. The camera is activated
only at that moment and turns off immediately after the photo is
taken.
- STORAGE/GALLERY Permission: Used ONLY when you tap "Gallery" to
select an existing food photo from your device.
- MICROPHONE Permission (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO): Used
ONLY when you tap the "Voice" button to log a meal by speaking.
Voice processing happens entirely on your device.
How your photos are used:
- Photos you take or select are sent to our AI service (OpenRouter /
Google Gemini) for food identification ONLY.
- Photos are processed in real-time and are NOT stored on our
servers or by our AI providers.
- The AI returns only the food name, which we use to match with
our local nutrition database.
- Photos are NEVER used for any other purpose (no ads, no profiling,
no selling).
- You can revoke camera/microphone/storage permissions anytime from
your device's Settings.
Photos are NOT:
- Stored permanently on any server
- Shared with advertisers
- Used to identify you personally
- Saved in our backend
2.3 Voice Input
• Voice recognition is processed entirely on your device using
Android's built-in speech-to-text. No audio is sent to our servers.
2.4 Automatically Collected Information
• Anonymous app usage data (e.g., crash reports, feature usage)
to improve the app.
• Advertising ID (for free tier users only) — used by Google AdMob.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Premium subscribers ($2.99/month or $19.99/year) get a completely
ad-free experience.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

NutriAI is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If
we discover that we have collected information from a child under
13, we will delete it immediately.
The app is recommended for users aged 18 and above due to the
nature of nutrition and calorie tracking.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

• Access your data: All your data is visible in the app.
• Delete your data: Simply uninstall the app — all local data is

9. DATA RETENTION
