Privacy Policy for NusaAPRS+

NusaAPRS+ is an APRS application for amateur radio operators. This Privacy Policy explains how NusaAPRS+ accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the application.

Information Used by the App
NusaAPRS+ may use the following information and device features when you enable the related functions:
Callsign and APRS settings: used as your APRS station identity and configuration.
Location data: used for APRS tracker, smart beacon, map position, and APRS position reports.
APRS messages: used to send and receive APRS messages.
APRS packets and telemetry: used for APRS-IS, radio APRS, iGate, digipeater, map display, weather, telemetry, and station monitoring.
Microphone/audio input: used for AFSK 1200 audio receive and decoding when audio RX is enabled by the user.
Bluetooth connection: used to connect to Bluetooth KISS TNC devices when enabled by the user.
Internet/network access: used to connect to APRS-IS servers, download map data, and exchange APRS data.
Local logs and settings: used for troubleshooting, app operation, and saving user configuration on the device.
How the App Uses Information
NusaAPRS+ uses the information above to provide APRS functions, including:
Tracking and sending APRS position beacons
Connecting to APRS-IS
Sending and receiving APRS messages
Displaying APRS stations on the map
Operating AFSK 1200 audio TX/RX
Connecting to Bluetooth KISS TNC devices
Operating iGate and digipeater functions
Saving app configuration locally on the device
Data Sharing and Public APRS Network
When you enable APRS transmission, APRS-IS, radio transmission, iGate, digipeater, beacon, messaging, or telemetry functions, your APRS data may be transmitted over amateur radio or APRS-IS networks.
This data may include callsign, location, messages, telemetry, timestamps, and packet paths. APRS network data may be publicly visible on APRS websites, APRS-IS servers, maps, gateways, and third-party services. NusaAPRS+ cannot control how public APRS networks or third-party APRS services store, display, or redistribute APRS data.
Data Storage
NusaAPRS+ may store settings, callsign configuration, logs, and app preferences locally on your device. You can clear app data or uninstall the app to remove local data stored by the app.
Data transmitted to APRS-IS, amateur radio networks, or third-party APRS services may remain available outside the app according to the policies and systems of those external services.
Advertising and Sale of Data
NusaAPRS+ does not contain third-party advertising. NusaAPRS+ does not sell user data.
Payments
If NusaAPRS+ is purchased through Google Play, payment processing is handled by Google Play. NusaAPRS+ does not collect or store payment card information.
Permissions
NusaAPRS+ may request Android permissions such as Location, Microphone, Bluetooth, Nearby Devices, Internet, Notifications, and Foreground Service permissions. These permissions are used only for the APRS features selected by the user.
User Choices
You can choose not to enable GPS tracking, APRS beacon, APRS-IS, Bluetooth KISS TNC, AFSK audio RX/TX, iGate, or digipeater functions. Some app features may not work without the required permissions.
Children
NusaAPRS+ is intended for licensed amateur radio operators and is not directed to children.
Security
NusaAPRS+ uses Android platform permissions and local device storage for app operation. However, APRS transmissions and APRS-IS data are public by nature. Do not transmit private or sensitive information through APRS messages or beacons.
11. Data Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of data associated with NusaAPRS+ by contacting the developer at stefendy@gmail.com.
Users can also delete local app data stored on their device by clearing the app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app.
Please note that APRS data transmitted over amateur radio, APRS-IS, gateways, maps, or other third-party APRS services may be public and may not be fully removable by NusaAPRS+ because it is outside the developer's control.
