Welcome to my website!

I develop computationally efficient methods and algorithms for uncertainty quantification of large-scale stochastic dynamical systems. My research work lies in the intersection of computation, applied mathematics, probabilistic machine learning, and dynamics.

Presently, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of  Prof Roger Ghanem at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Earlier, I served as a project scientist at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a postdoctoral researcher at University College Dublin, Ireland, for a year.

I earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2021. I was awarded Prof. KTS Iyengar Gold Medal by Indian Institute of Science for the Best Ph.D. thesis in Civil Engineering. My doctoral thesis was supervised by Prof Debraj Ghosh. My Ph.D. work deals with developing a posteriori error bounds and adaptive training schemes for reduced-order models of general linear and nonlinear dynamical systems. Further, the trained reduced-order models are employed for uncertainty quantification.

Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, I obtained a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering (structures) from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College.
