Nursing MCQ Quiz & Tests (the “App”) is an educational and exam-preparation service published and developed by Coaching Planet Education and owned by Sumitra Devi (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you when you use the App, our website at https://www.coachingplanet.in/, or related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.
Nursing MCQ Quiz & Tests provides educational content and exam-preparation resources for nursing students, nursing professionals and nursing-exam aspirants. Features may include nursing MCQs, topic-wise quizzes, question banks, mock tests, test series, daily challenges, previous-year practice questions, answer explanations, performance reports and other study resources. Relevant general aptitude or allied-healthcare learning content may also be available.
The App is an independent educational product. It does not provide government services and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or officially connected with AIIMS, ESIC, Indian Railways, DSSSB, NHM, any government department, hospital, examination authority, recruitment organization, university, board or other institution. Any examination or organization name is used only to identify the educational preparation category.
The information collected depends on the features you use and the permissions you choose to grant.
When you create or manage an account, we may collect:
Name or username;
Email address;
Mobile number;
Profile photograph, if you choose to add one;
Account identifier and login credentials. Passwords are stored using security controls such as hashing and are not intended to be stored in readable form; and
Limited profile information received from a supported sign-in provider, such as your name, email address and provider account identifier, when you choose that sign-in method.
To provide educational features and progress reports, we may collect:
Quiz and test attempts, selected answers, marks, scores, accuracy and time spent;
Course enrolment, lesson or video progress and completion status;
Bookmarks, saved questions, reattempt history and daily-challenge activity;
Search activity and interactions with content or features; and
App preferences, including supported language or display choices.
When you purchase a course, plan, test series or other eligible item, we may collect order details such as the product purchased, amount, currency, transaction reference, payment status, date and billing-related information necessary to complete or verify the transaction.
Payments may be processed by an authorized third-party payment gateway or app-store billing provider. Full payment-card, bank-account, UPI PIN or similar payment credentials are processed by the relevant payment provider and are not intended to be stored on our servers.
We and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address;
Device type, operating system, app version, language and time zone;
Device or app identifiers, push-notification token and authentication token;
Network information; and
Crash reports, performance data, error logs and other diagnostic information.
We do not collect precise GPS location unless a feature clearly requires it, you are informed at the point of collection, and you grant the required permission.
If you contact support, submit feedback, participate in a review feature, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect the contents of your request and any information, image, attachment or contact detail you voluntarily provide.
The App may request access to notifications, camera, photos, videos, files or storage only when needed for a user-requested feature, such as choosing a profile image, uploading an attachment, downloading study material or receiving important service notifications. Where supported by your device, you may deny or withdraw a permission through device settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable.
The App contains healthcare-related educational material, but it is not designed to collect or maintain patient records, diagnoses, prescriptions, vital signs, laboratory reports, treatment histories, Health Connect data, body-sensor data or other personal health information.
Do not upload patient-identifiable information, medical records or other confidential clinical data to the App or its support channels. If a future feature collects health data, we will provide any required notice and consent, update this Privacy Policy, and comply with applicable permissions and laws before collecting it.
We may use collected information to:
Create, authenticate, secure and maintain user accounts;
Deliver MCQs, tests, courses, videos, study resources and other requested features;
Save learning progress and generate scores, results and performance reports;
Process purchases, verify payments and provide access to purchased content;
Send essential service messages, security alerts, reminders and push notifications;
Provide support and respond to questions, feedback or complaints;
Diagnose errors, monitor performance and improve the safety, reliability and usability of the Services;
Prevent spam, fraud, unauthorized access, abuse and other harmful activity;
Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms and protect users, our rights and the public; and
Send optional promotional communications where permitted by law and your choices. You may opt out of promotional emails or notifications, but we may still send necessary service-related communications.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information:
To perform our contract with you and provide requested Services;
With your consent, which you may withdraw where applicable;
For our legitimate interests, such as securing and improving the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and
To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary in the following circumstances:
We may use trusted providers for cloud hosting, database services, authentication, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, video delivery, customer support, email delivery and payment processing. These providers may process only the information needed to perform services for us, subject to their contractual obligations and privacy practices.
Depending on the App build and features used, these providers may include Google services such as Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Play services, YouTube or Google Play Billing, as well as an authorized payment gateway and our hosting or technical-service providers.
We may disclose information when you intentionally use a sharing feature, open third-party content, make a payment, or otherwise direct us to interact with another service. The third party’s privacy policy applies to its independent processing.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, court orders or lawful government requests; enforce our terms; investigate fraud or abuse; protect the security of the Services; or protect the rights, property or safety of users or others.
If ownership or control of all or part of the Services changes through a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and continued protection under this Policy or notice of any material change.
We may use or disclose information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably identify you.
The App may use analytics or diagnostic services to understand feature usage, identify crashes and improve performance. If advertising is introduced or displayed in a version of the App, we will use advertising services only as disclosed in the App, this Policy and the Google Play Data Safety section, and will obtain consent where required. We do not use personal health data for advertising.
Our website, embedded web content and service providers may use cookies, local storage, SDKs or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, process transactions, measure performance and understand use. You can control some of these technologies through your browser, device or App settings. Disabling them may affect certain functions.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including secure network transmission where supported, access controls, authentication controls and restricted access to systems. Payment credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider rather than intentionally stored by us.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and device access.
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
Provide and maintain the Services and your account;
Preserve learning progress and purchase access;
Complete transactions and resolve payment disputes;
Meet legal, tax, accounting, security and fraud-prevention requirements; and
Establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize or securely isolate it. Limited information may remain temporarily in backups until overwritten through the normal backup cycle. Certain transaction or legal records may be retained for the period required by applicable law even after account deletion.
Subject to applicable law, you may request to:
Access or receive information about the personal data we hold about you;
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
Delete your account and associated personal data;
Withdraw consent or object to certain processing;
Restrict processing or request data portability where applicable; and
Opt out of optional promotional messages.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
You can request deletion using either of the following methods:
Sign in to the App.
From the Home page, tap your Profile icon at the top. Alternatively, tap the three-line menu icon to open the sidebar.
In the sidebar, tap your Profile or the Settings icon shown near your profile. Tapping the profile will also take you to Settings.
In Settings, open the Security tab.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Review the information shown and confirm the deletion request.
Once the deletion is confirmed, the account and the personal data associated with it are automatically scheduled for deletion from our active servers. This process is designed to give users direct control over deletion without requiring a separate support request. Information that must be retained for legitimate legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or security purposes may be retained only for the required purpose and period, as explained below.
If you cannot access the App, you can submit an account-deletion request through our publicly accessible Account Deletion Request Page.
Alternatively, send an email from your registered email address to sumitrajharokha@gmail.com with the subject “Nursing MCQ Quiz & Tests Account Deletion Request”. Include only the account information reasonably necessary for us to identify and verify your request. Do not send your password, OTP, card details or UPI PIN.
After a verified deletion request, we will delete the account and personal data associated with it, except information we must retain for legitimate legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or security purposes. Any retained information will be limited to the required purpose and retained only for the required period. Account deactivation or loss of access is not treated as account deletion.
Deleting the App from your device does not by itself delete your account or server-side information.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorization, contact us at sumitrajharokha@gmail.com. After verification, we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.
Users who are under the age at which they may independently consent to data processing in their country should use the Services only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
We are based in India. Our service providers may process information in India or other countries. Those countries may have data-protection rules different from those in your location. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
The Services may contain links to or embedded content from third-party websites, video platforms, payment providers or other services. We do not control their independent privacy practices. Please review the privacy policy of any third-party service you use.
Nursing MCQ Quiz & Tests provides educational and exam-preparation content only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. It does not provide prescriptions, patient-specific medical advice, clinical decision support or emergency assistance.
Educational content must not be used as a substitute for professional judgment, institutional protocols, official examination notices or advice from a qualified healthcare professional. For medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, technology, law or our data practices. We will post the revised Policy on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, without limiting any mandatory rights available to you under the laws applicable in your place of residence.
