2. Information Collection and Use We do not require users to create an account or provide personal identification information (such as name, email, or phone number). All progress data (fasting tracker, tasbih counts) is stored locally on your device.
3. Location Data To provide accurate prayer times, Suhoor, Iftar timings, and Qibla direction, the App requires access to your device's location (GPS).
Purpose: Location data is used solely for astronomical calculations of prayer times.
Storage: We do not store your location history on our servers. The coordinates are processed locally or sent anonymously to prayer time APIs if necessary.
Control: You can enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings.
4. Third-Party Services To support the App and improve performance, we use the following third-party services which may collect pseudonymous data (such as Device IDs or IP addresses):
Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may use your advertising identifier to show personalized ads (subject to your consent via App Tracking Transparency on iOS).
Firebase Crashlytics: Used to monitor app stability and fix bugs.
Google Analytics for Firebase: Used to understand general usage patterns (e.g., which features are most popular) to improve the user experience.
5. App Tracking Transparency (iOS Users) In compliance with Apple’s policies, the App will ask for your permission to track your activity across other apps and websites for advertising purposes. You have the right to decline this request.
6. Camera Access The App may request access to your camera solely for the Qibla AR (Augmented Reality) feature. We do not record, store, or transmit any photos or videos.
7. Data Security We prioritize the security of your data. Since most of your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings. For data handled by third-party services (Firebase/AdMob), we rely on Google’s industry-standard security protocols.
8. Children’s Privacy Our App is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
