NumLekka (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a finance utility application that provides calculators, insights, financial awareness content, and related tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the NumLekka mobile application.
We operate from Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, NumLekka and its service providers may collect the following categories of information:
1.1 Account Information
If you sign in using email/password or Google Sign-In, we may collect:
- your email address
- your basic account profile information made available by the sign-in provider, such as display name
- your Firebase authentication identifier
This information is used to create and manage your account, authenticate access, and support signed-in app features.
1.2 App Content and Service Data
If you use app features that depend on cloud services, we may store or process:
- app preferences and settings associated with your account
- finance/news insight data retrieved from our backend services
- requests you send to in-app cloud-powered helper features
- limited records needed to deliver app functionality through Firebase services
1.3 Technical, Device, and Usage Data
Our app and service providers may automatically process limited technical and usage information such as:
- app version
- device model
- operating system version
- network state and request metadata
- app interaction and usage events
- advertising and consent-related status
- notification token or messaging-related technical identifiers
- diagnostic or performance-related data generated by integrated SDKs
2. How We Use Information
We may use information for the following purposes:
- account sign-in and authentication
- app functionality and personalization
- serving calculators, insights, and cloud-backed features
- loading and measuring advertisements
- managing user consent choices for ads where required
- supporting notifications and messaging infrastructure where enabled

3. News and External Content
NumLekka may display third-party news-related information such as headlines, short summaries, source names, dates, categories, and article links. Full articles remain on third-party publisher or source platforms. When you open a linked article or external page, that third party’s own privacy policy and terms will apply.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
Based on the current reviewed codebase, NumLekka may use the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase Authentication
- Google Firebase Firestore
- Google Firebase Functions
- Google Firebase Analytics
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Firebase App Check / Play Integrity
- Google Sign-In
- Google AdMob
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent management
These providers may process personal, technical, advertising, app usage, device, diagnostic, or network-related data according to their own policies and as needed to provide their services.

5. Advertising and Consent
NumLekka uses Google AdMob to display ads. The app also uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request or manage consent where required by applicable law or platform rules. Ad-related providers may process technical and device-related information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, frequency control, and consent handling.
We do not intentionally provide your login email address to advertisers for their own independent marketing use.
6. Notifications
NumLekka may request notification permission on supported Android versions. The app includes Firebase Cloud Messaging infrastructure, which may generate or use a messaging token and related technical data to support push notification capability. If notifications are not enabled by you or are not actively used in a given app version, related processing may be limited to technical setup and background service readiness.
7. Backup and Restore
The current reviewed codebase includes a backup/restore screen and placeholder code, but Google Drive backup and restore do not appear to be fully implemented at this time. If a future version enables cloud backup or restore, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or at the time that feature becomes active.
8. Data Storage, Retention, and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the app and its features
- maintain account-related services
- operate cloud-backed functionality
- meet legal, security, accounting, or operational requirements
- resolve disputes and enforce agreements
9. Your Choices and Rights
You may be able to:
- sign out of your account
- stop using the app at any time
- control notification permission through your device settings
- request deletion of your account or associated data
- contact us with privacy-related questions or requests

10. Children’s Privacy
NumLekka is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
