Summary
No internet required: the App is designed to work fully offline.
No ads, no trackers: the App does not include advertising SDKs or third‑party analytics.
On-device storage: progress and settings are stored locally on your device.
Information the App stores (on your device)
The App stores the following information locally to provide gameplay, progression, and parent controls:
Child profile data
Profile name (optional)
Age preset / difficulty configuration (enabled operations, operand range)
Settings such as hints mode, multiple-choice mode, daily limit, and “finger friendly” option
Progression state (rank, adaptive difficulty ranges, correct/incorrect streaks)
Timestamps such as profile creation time and last played time
Practice / learning records
To calculate progress summaries and charts, the App stores attempt history such as:
Timestamp of each attempt
Operation type (e.g., +, −, ×, ÷)
Operands
Correct answer and submitted answer
Whether the attempt was correct
Time taken (duration)
Whether a hint was used
Answer mode (keypad vs multiple-choice)
Missions / milestones
Timestamped mission completion events (used for daily missions and summaries)
Parent Mode security
A Parent PIN stored as a salted + hashed value (the App does not store the plain PIN)
Local lockout counters (failed attempts and lockout-until time)
App preferences
Last selected profile
Daily mission counters per profile
What the App does not collect
The App does not collect or transmit:
Names, emails, phone numbers, or addresses (beyond an optional profile nickname you enter locally)
Precise location
Contacts
Photos, media, or files
Advertising identifiers (e.g., AAID)
Device identifiers for tracking
How information is used
All stored information is used only to:
Generate questions and adapt difficulty
Track ranks, mastery, and missions
Show progress dashboards and charts
Enforce Parent Mode access and lockouts
Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. The App does not integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Internet / network access
Numigo is designed to function offline and does not require an internet connection for core functionality.
Data storage, retention, and deletion
Stored locally: App data is stored on your device (e.g., internal app storage).
Delete in-app: You can delete child profiles and/or reset progress from within the App (Parent Mode).
Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes its local data from your device.
Device backups (important)
Your device or operating system may back up app data (for example, via Android backup/restore features) depending on your device settings. If you want to avoid backups, you can disable device backups in your system settings.
Children’s privacy
Numigo is designed for children and does not include ads or tracking. Because the App is offline-first and does not transmit personal data to us, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children over the internet.
Parents/guardians can use Parent Mode to manage profiles and reset or delete stored progress.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information stored by the App:
Parent PIN is stored as a salted + hashed value (not in plain text).
Data remains on-device unless your system backs it up via OS-level backup features.
No method of storage is 100% secure, but we design the App to minimize data exposure by operating offline and avoiding third-party SDKs.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on the page where this policy is published, and the “Effective date” will be updated.
