Definitions

• • Outcome --> Any one of the possible results of an action

  • Simple Event --> Has one outcome or a collection of outcomes

  • Probability --> The chance of an event happening 

  • Random --> Each outcome occurs by chance

  • Complementary Event --> Only two possible outcomes, either it happens or it doesn't happen
