Definitions

• • Relation --> A set or group of ordered pairs

  • Function --> A relation in which each input (what you plug into the equation) has exactly one output (the answer)

  • Function Rule --> The operation(s) performed on the input value to get the output value

  • Function Table --> A way of organizing the input, output, and function rule

  • Domain --> The set of input values (all numbers that you'll plug into the equation)

  • Range --> The set of output values (all numbers that you get for the answer)
