7.3.7 Divide Fractions

Similar to multiplying fractions, but we must flip the second fraction (which is called a reciprocal) before we multiply the fractions like normal.

We can also cross multiply the fractions in order to get the final answer as well.

• In the example to the right, we could just multiply 7 x 4 and 8 x 3 to get 28/24 , which is the correct answer. We can them simplify it from there.
