6.4.2 Fractions as Decimals

- Terminating Decimals --> Decimals that have an end
  - Examples include 0.25, 0.7, and 4.625
- Repeating Decimals --> Decimals whose digits repeat and do not end
  - Examples include 0.3333..., 0.2828..., and 5.142856142856...
  - Repeating Decimals have a bar that indicates the repeated pattern ------>

You should know how to do both formats, both the paper-pencil method and the use of a calculator.

With the paper-pencil method, the denominator goes on the inside of the box while the numerator is on the outside of the box.
