6.2.3 Multiply Fractions

This division process listed to the left is called "Cross Reduction". Since both 3 and 6 are divisible by 3, we can simplify them down to 1 and 2. We cannot simplify 4 and 5 because there are no numbers that go into both 4 and 5 besides the number, 1.
