Volume of Pyramids

Definition

- Pyramid --> A 3-D figure with at least three lateral faces that are triangles and only one base, the triangles meet at a singular point.

Square Pyramid Formula --> length x width x height ÷ 3

Triangular Pyramid Formula --> length x width x height ÷ 6

The base on a pyramid can be any type of shape. In the picture, it has a triangular base. But pyramids can also have square bases, pentagonal, hexagonal, etc.
