DIVIDING by a power of 10 GREATER than 1 moves the decimal point to the LEFT the same number of places as the number of zeroes in the power of 10.

DIVIDING by a power of 10 LESS than 1 moves the decimal point to the RIGHT the same number of places as there are after the decimal point.
