• NUBWO Gaming Headset — biggest strength: Dual wireless (2.4GHz + Bluetooth 5.3) with a 50mm dynamic driver and a claimed 100-hour battery, so it's built to stay on your head all day without a cable.
• NUBWO Gaming Headset — biggest trade-off: It's an over-ear headset, so it's bulky, needs charging, and its USB-C-free 3.5mm jack plus dongle setup is more to manage than a simple plug-in.
• BYZMODLX Earbuds — biggest strength: True plug-and-play USB-C wired audio with an ENC noise-cancelling mic and a reinforced 144-wire oxygen-free copper cable — nothing to charge, nothing to pair.
• BYZMODLX Earbuds — biggest trade-off: It's wired only, and it's strictly for USB-C devices — no Lightning, no 3.5mm — so older gear is off the table.
• Who each pick is for: NUBWO for the console/PC gamer who wants wireless freedom and long battery life; BYZMODLX for the phone, laptop and commute user who wants dependable clear calls and zero charging.
The NUBWO Gaming Headset, model G06, is designed around one idea: staying connected without a cable for as long as possible. Its headline spec is a 1200mAh battery paired with a low-power chipset that NUBWO says cuts energy consumption by half, translating to up to 100 hours of play per charge. If you've ever had a headset die mid-match, that number is the whole pitch. The 50mm composite diaphragm driver covers a 20Hz–20,000Hz range and is tuned for 3D surround-style positional audio — the kind of thing that matters when you're trying to hear footsteps before you see them in an FPS.
The connectivity story is the other big draw. There's a 2.4GHz dongle for PS5, PS4 and PC that NUBWO describes as zero-latency and interference-free, plus Bluetooth 5.3 running at the same time so you can stay paired to your phone. That dual-wireless setup means a call can come in and you answer it with a single button press without leaving your game. It's a genuinely useful trick if you game and take calls in the same chair.
Who should buy it: PS5, PS4 and PC players who want a wireless over-ear with a mic, long battery life and dual-device convenience. It also lists compatibility with Xbox, Switch and smartphones, and it's water resistant, which is a nice bit of insurance. Who should skip it: anyone who hates charging gear, wants something pocketable, or prefers a wired connection they never have to think about. Over-ear fabric-and-plastic builds are also warmer on the ears than an in-ear, so if you run hot during long sessions, that's worth weighing.
The BYZMODLX Earbuds take the opposite approach: keep it simple, keep it wired, keep it in your pocket. They connect over USB-C with a true plug-and-play setup — no pairing, no battery, no dongle. The catch is spelled out plainly: they're designed exclusively for USB-C devices and won't work with Lightning or 3.5mm ports. If your phone, tablet or laptop has USB-C, you're set; if it doesn't, look elsewhere.
The feature I'd actually care about here is the ENC noise-cancelling microphone. Environmental noise cancellation filters out ambient distractions like traffic and wind so your voice comes through clearly on the other end. That makes these a sensible pick for online classes, work calls and voice chat, where a muffled mic is the fastest way to annoy everyone on the line. The 16-ohm impedance and 100dB sensitivity suggest they're easy to drive — you won't need a headphone amp to get usable volume out of a phone or laptop.
Comfort and durability are the other two pillars. You get three sizes of soft silicone tips (S/M/L) for a snug in-ear fit, and the cable is reinforced with 144 oxygen-free copper wires and a plug tested to survive over 10,000 plug-and-pull cycles. That's a build aimed at daily abuse — commuting, walking, running, tossing them in a bag. Who should buy them: USB-C phone, tablet and laptop users who want reliable wired audio and clear calls without charging anything. Who should skip them: console gamers, anyone with Lightning or 3.5mm-only gear, and people who want the immersive over-ear staging a headset like the NUBWO provides.
• Best for battery life → NUBWO Gaming Headset. Up to 100 hours per charge, versus a wired earbud that never needs charging at all — two different kinds of "never run out."
• Best for plug-and-play simplicity → BYZMODLX Earbuds. USB-C in, sound out. No pairing, no dongle, no power button.
• Best for console gaming → NUBWO Gaming Headset. The 2.4GHz dongle targets PS5, PS4 and PC with low-latency audio; the earbuds are USB-C only.
• Best for clear voice calls on the go → BYZMODLX Earbuds. ENC noise cancelling on the mic is the standout feature for calls, meetings and online classes.
• Best for long listening sessions without ear fatigue → BYZMODLX Earbuds. Lightweight in-ear design with three tip sizes, versus a warmer over-ear fit.
• Best for positional game audio → NUBWO Gaming Headset. The 50mm driver and 3D-surround tuning are aimed squarely at competitive FPS and RPG immersion.
• Best for durability against daily wear → BYZMODLX Earbuds. 144 oxygen-free copper wires and a plug rated for 10,000+ cycles is a rugged, tangle-free build.
• Best for dual-device multitasking → NUBWO Gaming Headset. 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 run simultaneously, so game audio and phone calls coexist.
My Verdict
It's both, in a sense. It runs 2.4GHz wireless via a dongle for PS5, PS4 and PC, plus Bluetooth 5.3 for phones, and it also has a 3.5mm jack. So you can go wireless or plug in directly.
Only USB-C iPhones — the listing names iPhone 17, 16 and 15. They're designed exclusively for USB-C and won't work with Lightning or 3.5mm ports, so older iPhones are out.
The BYZMODLX Earbuds, in my view, because of their ENC noise-cancelling mic that filters out traffic and wind. The NUBWO headset can take calls over Bluetooth, but its focus is game audio, not voice clarity.
The NUBWO Gaming Headset, by a mile — up to 100 hours per charge from its 1200mAh battery. The BYZMODLX Earbuds are wired, so they draw power from your device and never need charging.
