●造形芸術専攻 教育研究上の目的
デザイン、美術、美学美術史の分野における専門家を養成する。創作研究、作品分析研究、歴史研究を多角的に追及し、平面、立体、映像表現の伝統的及び現代的技法を習得する。美術の根源的な営為への想像力を馳せる力を養う一方で、文献学の基礎的方法も学ぶ。国際的な視野を持ち、社会との連携も視野に入れつつ、IT時代に即応した先端的表現領域や、造形関連分野境界領域での表現の独創性も追求する。
研究活動を通じて育まれた「知」と、「知」に支援された「感性」の両者を合わせもつ人材の育成こそが、学部課程の発展形としての博士前期課程の主たる教育目標です。より高度な専門性の涵養をめざす一方では、造形専攻を構成する絵画・彫刻・版画・造形理論・及びコミュニケーション、インダストリアル、建築のデザイン各分野が、領域をこえて、創造的な交流をはかるための多様な機会も用意されています。
The primary goal of this course as an extension of the undergraduate course is to foster artistic as well as intellectual ability. It is assumed that the former is strengthened and given direction by the latter. Although training students in skills and technical knowledge in their respective fields of painting,sculpture,printmaking and design disciplines including communication, industrial and architectural designs -- along with the theory of plastic art that encompasses them --is important, creative interactions among these fields is also strongly encouraged. This course aims to endow students with sensitivity to traditional culture as well as to the age of information and globalism, a prerequisite for the creation of visual culture in the future.
