NU Assistant is an educational application created to help Bangladesh National University students prepare for exams, study course topics, receive notices, and use AI assistance for academic support.
1. Information We Collect We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the app experience. This includes:
Name – Provided by the user to create a personalized profile.
Mobile number – Used for account identification and communication.
College name – Helps us deliver relevant academic content.
Department name – Used to tailor content based on field of study.
Profile picture – Optional, used for personalization.
We do not have access to any sensitive personal data such as passwords, payment information, or device files. We cannot collect any data without your input or permission.
2. Automatically Collected Data Some technical information may be collected automatically by third-party libraries such as Firebase Analytics. This may include:
Device type and operating system version
App usage statistics (e.g., screen visits, session length)
Crash reports and performance diagnostics
This data is collected anonymously and is used only to improve app stability and performance. We do not use it to personally identify users.
3. How We Use Your Information We use the information you provide for the following purposes:
