The Eighth  Workshop New Trends in Quaternions and Octonions - NTQO 2024 aims to present and discuss recent developments in the field of quaternions and octonions by bringing together scientists from pure and applied mathematics, physics, scientific computing, engineering, and other sciences.

The workshop will take place at the University of Minho, October 11-12, and will count on invited lectures and short communications. As there might be participants who cannot attend NTQO 2024 in person, the event will be run in a hybrid format.

The event is organized jointly by the Center of Mathematics of the University of Minho (CMAT-UMinho), the Center for Research and Development in Mathematics of the University of Aveiro (CIDMA-UA), and the Center of Mathematics and Applications of the University of Beira Interior (CMA-UBI).
