For anyone on the North Shore going through the stressful process of studying for standardized testing, I urge you to consider our tutoring opportunities. The majority of our tutors are local college students primarily at Northwestern University and The University of Chicago. I can't stress enough how expensive, frustrating, and impersonal large SAT tutoring companies are; our tutors are free to meet in person or remotely over Zoom. Our process is simple, we have a student take one of Bluebook's Digital SAT practice tests, our tutors look over their score report before meeting and show up to help tackle specific question types that the student's score report demonstrated as an area of weakness. For more details about our individual tutors, their qualifications, and a breakdown of our process navigate to the "MATH" and "EBRW" tabs which can be found in the top right corner of your screen. To book a tutor scroll down and fill out the google form linked below.
Click here to book a tutor. After you fill out the form, we will personally reach out to you via the phone number you provided and assign you a tutor that matches all of your needs. From there we will put you in touch with your tutor to discuss details of meeting times and payment. Each tutor's details can be found on the designated MATH (Mathematics) and EBRW (Evidence Based Reading and Writing) tabs which you can find in the top right corner of your screen. Here you can find your tutor, their hourly rate for zoom and in person, preferred payment method, and some personal details about them. If you have any questions at all feel free to reach out to 224-999-2491.
All of our tutors are highly qualified and have completely mastered how to beat the SAT's tricks. Our tutors' scores can be seen on the MATH and EBRW tabs, which you can find on the top right corner of this page. We dedicate time and effort to finding and creating practice problems that mimic the exact question types that trick students.
We do not require any sort of minimum or maximum number of lessons. NSTO's services are not binding whatsoever. The number of lessons with your tutor is completely up to you. If you only need to meet once or twice just to get some solid cramming in before your student's next SAT that is totally fine. If you plan to meet with your tutor upwards of five times to be well prepared ahead of time, that is also totally fine. We are very flexible and will do everything in our power to accommodate your needs.
Our pricing is competitive. While we acknowledge the fact that $100 for an hour of tutoring is not cheap, any large SAT tutoring company charges double that. Additionally, large SAT companies often make you buy packaged deals of multiple lessons at a time, which we will never do.
Our prices are the same no matter which tutor your student is working with. The hourly rates for in person and remote tutoring are displayed below. Every student's first lesson is discounted which is also shown below.
Hourly rate for an hour of in person tutoring: $100 (First in person lesson $80)
Hourly rate for an hour of remote tutoring: $85 (First remote lesson $65)
