The National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is a pre-professional organization for students interested in furthering their study of communication sciences and disorders and audiology. NSSLHA membership is available to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students enrolled full or part-time in a communication sciences program or related major.

California State University, Long Beach's local NSSLHA chapter strives to provide opportunities for students to supplement their education through service events, conferences, panels, social gatherings and more. We are a GOLD accredited chapter since 2020 which is given by National NSSLHA. This achievement provides CSULB NSSLHA with several resources including grants, career awareness workshops, and more. CSULB NSSLHA is committed to supporting students and building valuable partnerships in the community.
