WELCOME, NIGHTINGALES!!
In your third year, you will encounter more complex and in-depth nursing courses that focus on caring for clients with acute and chronic conditions. Subjects such as Care of Clients with Problems in Oxygenation, Fluid and Electrolyte Balance, Infectious and Immunologic Responses, Nutrition and Gastrointestinal Conditions, Endocrine Disorders, and Maladaptive Patterns of Behavior will challenge you to integrate theory, critical thinking, and clinical judgment.
You will also begin strengthening your scholarly and community roles through Nursing Research, Community Health Nursing, and Care of the Older Adult, allowing you to understand health care beyond the bedside and within the context of families, populations, and communities. Courses in Logic and Critical Thinking and Filipino subjects further enhance your analytical, communication, and cultural competence.
Please note that some subjects listed are still being finalized and may be updated accordingly.
