A Letter to The NRSD Community

The Nashoba Regional School Committee has begun its search for the next Superintendent of Schools, who wil begin serving on July 1, 2021 or soon thereafter. We have engaged the Massachusetts Association of School Committees (MASC) to serve as our consultant in the search process. This website will hold all the information relevant to this process.

While it is the responsibility of the School Committee to hire the Superintendent, our process includes opportunities for members of our school community and the community at large to be involved. These include:

• Completing an online survey which we will use to identify the key qualifications and skills we are seeking in a new superintendent;

• Participating in focus groups to provide input into the key qualifications and skills we are seeking in a new superintendent;

• Applying to participate on the Screening Committee that will recommend finalists to the School Committee;

• And participating in public forums that will be held as part of the interview process for finalists.

An update on the Superintendent Search will be a standing item on each School Committee Agenda until the process is complete.
