As an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, (IISER) Tirupati, my expertise lies in experimental high-energy physics with a specialization in the study of Quark-Gluon Plasma (QGP). This state of matter, governed by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), is of particular interest as it emulates the conditions of the early universe mere microseconds after the Big Bang.

My research endeavors primarily involve replicating the conditions conducive to QGP formation by colliding heavy ions at the Relativistic Heavy-ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), USA, and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Geneva. Through these collisions, we meticulously scrutinize the properties of the QGP, employing sophisticated tools such as hard-probes including jets and heavy flavors.

A significant portion of my work is conducted in collaboration with the STAR detector at RHIC, where I actively contribute to advancing our understanding of the fundamental characteristics of the QCD medium. Additionally, my interests extend to the development and utilization of semiconductor and calorimeter detectors, envisaging their crucial role in forthcoming experiments.

Besides my core research, I spend part of my research time exploring recent advances in machine learning, from Classical to Quantum methods, and their application in QCD and pertaining areas in collider physics.
