Dear Players, Coaches, Supporters and Volunteers of Narberth Rugby Football Club.
I am filled with a deep sense of pride and excitement for the journey ahead. This past summer has seen a number of changes which I hope has set the stage for a new era for our club. We've not only focused on improving what happens on the field, but have also dedicated ourselves to re-imagining who we are as a club - inside and out.
We are very proud of where we sit in the WRU grassroots game, having two senior teams in the league structure. The 1st XV in the Premiership and the Athletic in Division 3 West. Our Youth and Junior teams, their respective coaches and management teams will match the club's ambition and continue to give a route for local players to reach their potential. To achieve this, we have focused on improving the support structure for all our coaches and I am delighted to announce that Richard (Stag) Jones has agreed to head our rugby pertormance programme and have an overview of our development pathway.
This season marks a turning point, and we are proud to introduce a rebrand that reflects our renewed commitment to excellence. Our new look symbolizes more than just a visual change - it represents the heart of our club's evolution. It's a fresh, modern identity that honors our legacy, while embracing a future of innovation and growth. Our new member of the management committee, Kelly Monroe has been very much the driving force behind these initiatives as we endeavour to modernise the club, and 1 am very thankful for the ideas and energy she has brought to the club.
To all our players and coaches of all our teams:
This season is about more than just playing rugby - it's about pushing boundaries, developing together, and rising to new challenges.
To our supporters:
You are the lifeblood of our club. Your passion and loyalty make everything we do possible. As we embark on this new chapter, we invite you to embrace the changes, and support the journey.
To our volunteers, sponsors, and staff:
The changes we've made wouldn't be possible without your tireless efforts behind the scenes. Thank you for your unwavering support.
This is a season of growth - on and off the field - and I am confident that, with your continued support, we will achieve great things together. Let's make this a year to remember.

Anyone can join, it is easy. Each number costs £2.50 a week.
The minimum entry point is £20 which buys entry to the draw for 8 weeks. You can pay by standing order, cash, or cheque. Please ask Sheena Conbeer at the bar for more details or contact Robin Probert: 07772 259980 or John Llewellyn: 07495541873 or 01834 862740.
The Otters Weekly Jackpot started during the first Covid lockdown and was the brainchild of former club Chairman, Dorian Phillips. With the help of Robin Probert and John Llewellyn it quickly got off the ground with 178 entrants in for the first prize draw of £222.50 on 28 May 2020. The club has now shared well over £150,000 in prizemoney to over 200 lucky winners. All this prize money has gone to someone associated with the club, supporters, current players, ex-players, junior parents, committee members, as well as friends and family in the local community.
The Weekly Jackpot significantly helped the club's financial position during the Covid Pandemic and has subsequently enabled the club to fund some important capital projects including clubhouse repairs and refurbishment, pitch drainage and new floodlights to both main pitches.
New entrants from within the club or wider community can join at any time. We currently have around 550 members in the draw and pay out around £700 to one lucky winner every Friday evening. As well as the regular weekly draws, we also have two £1,000 jackpots every year celebrating Christmas and at the end of May, the anniversary of the first draw.
Winners of the regular weekly jackpot are mainly notified on the evening of the draw, which is a perfect way to start your weekend. It is never too late to join. Do it today!
