Ans- Macavity is called a criminal because it cheats people. It steals meat, breaks the glass and drinks milk. It also kills rats and small animals. So, Macavity is called a criminal.
Ans- The poet calls Macavity a mystery cat because she is a master criminal. It commits many crimes and flees. It never lives behind any clue of its crime area. So, it is never caught red hundred by anyone all of the actions are mysterious. So, the poet called Macavity a mystery cat.
Ans- The snake was thirsty because that day was very hot. So, the snake came out of its hole for drinking water.
