Dowry is a social evil in our society. Evil has taken all society— be it poor, middle class or rich family. It is a social disease that is moving very fast in our society today. Married women suffer much for this dowry. Sometimes a young bride is killed by the dowry or a woman is found hanging from a fan.

This happens when a married woman does not bring enough money from her parents. Government has a strict law against this dowry system. Demanding dowry has been made illegal but the evils of dowry have continued. It can be checked if the public opinion is formed against it. Without the active support of the public, this evil can not be uprooted.

The young bride also should refuse to marry the young man whose parents are greedy. If we want to be a good society we must stop this evil from our society.

COVID-19 is an infectious disease. It is caused by the most recent coronavirus. Now, its new name is Omicron. This new virus came to China (Wuhan) in Dec 2019. After sometimes this virus has spread all over the world. Many countries are mostly affected by this new virus. The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, tiredness and dry cough. In this case, the infected person also can die.

We can protect ourselves by taking some simple precautions. We should always regularly clean our hands with soap and water. We should always sanitize our hands. We also keep a safe distance of at least a minimum of three feet from people. We also avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth because our hands touch many surfaces and can pick up the virus.

This virus can spread by breathing and close range. When any person has cough and sneeze then we should cover our mouth and nose. Many people have died from this virus. This virus is very dangerous for humans. So, we will to safe and keep precautions from this virus.

Flood is an annual feature in many states of India. Flood always comes during the rainy season. Flood is one of the natural disasters. In India about one-eight part of the land is affected by floods. Flood cause loss of life, public property and government properties. It also destructions agricultural crops and cattle.

So, floods cause heavy damage to men, animals, crops and houses. Due to the flood, thousands of people are homeless. Animals and houses are washed away with the floodwater. Floods also damage railway lines and roads. There are many causes of floods. It can happen during heavy rain. Due to the heavy rain, the water of rivers overflow then comes the flood.

In India, every year lakhs of people are affected by floods.

India is a land of fairs and festivals. Every fair in our country has some religious background. The Sonpur fair is one of them. It is the most important fair in our Bihar state. Lakhs of people visit this fair every year. This fair is very big. We get almost everything at this fair.

This fair is held by the side of river Gandak. This fair is famous for the cattle market. There are different kinds of animals at this fair. Some famous circus parties also come to the fair. They entertain the visitors. There is a great rush of people on trains and buses during those days.

The government arranges for the proper supply of water and electricity. This fair is very useful for the visitors. It provides a meeting ground for all kinds of people. Some cheats and pickpockets are very active in this fair. They cheat innocent people. So, the government must give maximum facilities to visitors. This fair is very famous in Bihar state.

Science has made man what he is today. We can see the wonders of science in every walk of life. The modern man can not dream of life without the wonders of science. The alarm clock that wakes him in the morning, the brush and pastes clean our teeth, the food which we eat or the clothes which we put. All these are wonders of science.

Science is our life. Science has also helped man with the forces of nature. We have big ships to cross the deepest seas and oceans. We have aeroplanes to cross the highest peaks of the mountain but science is also bringing destruction to man.

The atom bomb, the hydrogen bomb, jet fighters will surely end the world. So, we must only use the gifts of science.

There are six seasons in India. They are spring, summer, winter, autumn, late autumn and the rainy season. I like the winter season most. In this season day and night are very cold. There is fog in the morning. we need warm clothes but the winter season has some advantages too.

Our general health is good during this season. The sweat of summer has gone. We can easily digest whatever we eat. The day is pleasant. The sun is most welcome in this season. The Winter season has some other pleasures. This season, there are different kinds of vegetables available in this season.

The most refreshing fruits like guavas, apples, oranges and etc are also available. We may enjoy the game of football, cricket, badminton, carrom, ludo, chess, etc during this season. At night, we do not need fans. Winter is very useful for students. They can study well at night. Farmers and labours also feel happy. It is a season of fruits and flowers. So, I like the winter season most.

The aim is the inner desire of a man. No man can do anything in the world. If his aim is not fixed. I have already fixed my aim. I want to become a doctor. A doctor lives a noble life. A sick man looks at him with hope and joy. A good doctor is respected everywhere. If I became a doctor, I shall earn a lot of money but I must be very kind to poor and needy people.

I will not charge any fee for the poor people. I shall be helping the helpless. If I become a doctor, I have some plans. I'll set up my clinic in the village. I shall work day and night. I want to make a big name. I shall charge a full fee from rich people and I will not charge any fee from those who are very poor.

I shall work hard. I wish my sweet dream would be fulfilled.

A student is the future of a country. Student life is full of hardship. He has to labour hard towards his study. Any student can not progress in life without hard labour. He always runs short of money. Several times he faces many problems. He has to buy books and other important articles to fulfil his requirement.

Some students do not have good manners. They do not take interest in studying but time do not wait for anyone. Student life is the learning period. A student is the backbone of the country. His basic requirements must be fulfilled. Student life is the most important period of his life.

Each student will be labour hard for their own bright future. So, student life is an important time for any student.

An election is very important for democracy. An election has an important role in building the nation. In India, elections are held for making the government in states, central and other local bodies. It also includes the parliament, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. According to the constitution of India, the elections are held after five years.

Citizens who are eighteen years of age and above hold the right to vote. Elections are conducted by the election commission of India. The citizens have the right to vote for a candidate of their choice in the election. In India, elections are held every five years all over the country. An election scene is full of thrill and excitement because there is no idea which party will be a win in the election.

For making the government, elections are very important. So, we can say that an election is very important for democracy.

Games are necessary for us. It keeps us healthy. Games are necessary as studies. It develops our health and mind. Cricket, hockey, football, tennis, etc are many different kinds of the game but I like most football. Every people has their own like. Some likes cricket tennis, football, hockey but Football is my favourite game.

I like most football games because football is very interesting. It is played between two teams. There are eleven players in each team. In this game, one goalkeeper, two full-backs, three halfbacks and five forwards. There is also a referee to supervise this game. This game is played on a big field.

This game, has some fixed rules and players obey these rules. Football is one of the most refreshing games for a young man. I am also fond of this game.
