Ans- English is an international language because it is read and spoken by the largest number of people and it is also used as an official language almost all around the world. People of different nations, states, countries having different mother tongue still using English.
Ans- Mother English period extends from the beginning of the 16th century till now is called modern language. This modern language is divided into two modern phase modern English 1st and 2nd.
Ans- India has completely made a significant contribution to English. It has developed a distinct set of words and sentence patterns that do not exist in British English.
Ans- The working knowledge of English is very important for Indians in this age. English is the knowledge of internet and computers without its knowledge India cannot become a developed country. Indian people are also facing so may difficulty in pronouncing the English words correctly with correct stress. Generally Indian people are failed to speak English sentences with correct into Nation. These are the problems of Indians while writing English and debating to someone.
Ans- The period from 1150 to 1500 AD is called the middle English period in the history of English. During this period English was a mixture of dialects. These dialects were Northern, Southern, East midland, west midland and Kentish, middle English differed from modern English in spelling , grammar and pronunciation of words.
Ans- English as the foreign language because English is not our native /language. it is fact that English is used as the second language in India and it also refers to specialized approaches to language teaching designed for those whose primary language is not English. Thus we can say that English as the second language in India.
Ans- The period of the old English was in its childhood as a language learning. All that time English was a mixture of different dialects. It's words were written and pronounced differently. It was mostly initiative in nature.
