Andrés Uribe is thrilled to be cast in MUTT, A New Musical Comedy at ASU. He is a first-year transfer student pursuing his Bachelor’s in Music for Musical Theatre Performance and minoring in Dance. He has recently performed at Mesa Community College Performing Arts Center and recently represented Region 8 at The National Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Washington, D.C. His roles include Evelyn Oakleigh in Anything Goes, Clopin in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the Minstrel in Something Rotten. He is very thankful to her family, friends, teachers, and cast & crew for all the love and support he has received.

Jasmyn Gade is so grateful for the incredible experience that Mutt has been! She is a sophomore pursuing Music Theatre Performance and Music Therapy degrees under the vocal instruction of Dr. Andrea Will. Jasmyn's most recent roles include Amy/Caroline in The Theory of Relativity at the ASU School of Music, Lynette (Squeaky) Fromme in Stray Cat Theatre’s production of Assassins, and Zoom in Stray Cat Theatre’s Our Dear Dead Drug Lord. So much love to her family and boyfriend for always supporting her dreams and her friends and professors here at ASU for creating her home away from home!

Kambria Cook is a graduate student from Richmond, Virginia studying Musical Theatre at Arizona State University. She graduated from Claflin University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. During her undergrad, she participated in very few shows. Therefore, she is excited to have the opportunity to be in her fourth show at Arizona State. She has enjoyed working with the cast and crew and is excited for tonight! She hopes everyone is ready to laugh, love and possibly cry.

Sonia Rodriguez Wood she/her/ella Born in Queens, NY, grew up in South Jersey and Central Florida, and transplanted to Phoenix in 1996. She’s performed at venues all over Phoenix, including AZ Broadway Theatre, Phoenix Theatre Co., Theater Works, and Hale Centre Theatre. Favorite roles include the Lady of the Lake Spamalot, Dominique Du Monaco Lucky Stiff, Abuela Claudia In The Heights, Miss Adelaide Guys and Dolls, Antonia/Aldonza (u/s performed) Man of La Mancha. She’ll be graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theatre Performance at ASU in May where she last performed as Berthe in Pippin.

Katie Wright is so excited to be back on the ASU stage with this cast! She is a Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s in Music for Musical Theatre Performance and a Bachelor’s in Science for Business Administration. Previous ASU credits include The Theory of Relativity (Sara/Julie) and The Mad Ones (Samantha Brown Standby). Molly Virtue (Cow) She/Her- Molly is MOOved to be performing with this cast and is PAWsitively sure audiences will have a blast. She is a junior pursuing a Musical Theatre degree and a minor in Dance. This is Molly’s sixth show with MTO (Pippin, Pirates of Penzance, Into the Woods, Head Over Heels, Miss You Like Hell). She is a proud recipient of the 2022 Gene Kelly Award for Best Supporting Actress. In her free time, Molly enjoys creating comedic burlesque routines with her roommates. Special thanks to her voice teacher Dr. Will, friends, family, and of course, Mom and Dad.

Kyleigh Perales is a Junior pursuing her Bachelors in Music Theatre Performance. Lauren Carroll is thrilled to be cast in Mutt at ASU. She is a senior pursuing her Bachelor’s in Music for Musical Theatre Performance and on to a Masters in Theatre Education. She has performed at various venues including Yavapai Performing Arts Center, Footlight Studios, and McCallum Fine Arts Academy. Her favorite roles include Jo from Little Women, Roxie in Chicago, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. Karsten Flake is a senior this year and is stoked to be apart of her first new work. She's been seen in productions all around the East Valley. Most recent credits include Heather's (MET), Unsinkable Molly Brown (Hale), and Head Over Heels (ASU). She's had a really awesome time cultivating these new characters and story with all her friends. Mastiff
Atticus Adair is thrilled to be a part of MUTT at ASU. He is currently a sophomore pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. Previously with ASU, Atticus appeared in Pirates of Penzance and Pippin. Aside from ASU, Atticus recently performed in Footloose! with Magnolia Musical Theatre in Austin, Texas. He sends his love to his two dogs, Grover and Bear, and would like to humbly ask them to stop eating his socks. Enjoy the show!

Nicky Caldwell is ecstatic to be in MUTT! He holds a BM in music theatre performance from Carthage College, and is now a second year masters student pursuing an MM in music theatre performance at ASU. He has performed all over the country and abroad (including Midwestern and European tours). Some of his favorite roles include: Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde, Man 2 in Songs for A New World, and Jerry in Betrayal. Nicky would like to thank his family for their constant support, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Dani Cleveland is grateful for the opportunity to perform in Mutt. She is a Musical Theatre Major, Dance minor from Queen Creek, AZ. She is happy to be back at the ASU music building for her third show with the program. Some of her recent projects include her role as Persephone in Actors Youth Theatres Hadestown and her portrayal of Anya in Center Stage Academy's Anastasia. She'd like to thank her dog, Maurice, for being cute.

Nicole Riddering is exhilarated to be performing in her first show at ASU! She is a first year Master's student pursuing her degree in Musical Theatre Performance. Nicole is originally from Minnesota, but has lived in Florida for the past eight years. After receiving her Bachelor's in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance, she performed with many local organizations such as Central Florida Community Arts, Bach Festival Society of Winter Park, and Central Florida Vocal Arts. Nicole would like to thank her family and friends for being an amazing and unwavering support system!

PATRICIA ROSE is excited to be in Mutt the Musical at ASU! She is a first year graduate student in Opera Vocal Performance. She placed in both classical and musical theater NATS competitions (2019-2023) and was a Finalist in the NATSAA Competition (2021;2023). She played the roles of Princess Badroulbadour from Disenchanted (2018) and Mary Magdalene from the all-female cast of Jesus Christ Superstar (2024). She also performed in the Anchorage Opera Chorus for Pirates of Penzance, Carmen, The Elixir of Love, and La Traviata. Special thanks to the cast, crew, and family for the wonderful support!

Cael Szabados is excited to be tackling this new work with such an amazing crew. He is a senior pursuing his bachelors' in both Vocal Performance and Musical Learning and Teaching. He has performed in both opera and theater productions including Le nozze di Figaro, The Pirates of Penzance, and 9 to 5. He thanks all of his family, friends, and mentors for the unwavering support.
Marcus Terrell Smith graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Linguistics. The following year he was accepted into the Actors Studio Drama School (ASDS) at Pace University in New York City, receiving an MFA in Acting. After graduating, he joined the national tour of Broadway’s Book of Mormon. Smith then moved to Los Angeles, where he diversified his talents as an actor on TV/Film and continued his work in theater. He is also a prolific storyteller, currently writing narrative lore for League of Legends (Riot Games) and Magic: The Gathering. www.TheMuttMusical.com.
Robin Schäfer is proud and excited to see his debut musical “Mutt” being performed at ASU and participating as guitarist in the band. Robin is a songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist from Cologne, Germany. Since 2003 Schäfer played and composed in several original bands of various genres, currently focusing on his solo project Robin Shepherd. In 2020 he started composing works for musical theatre such as “Mutt” and “Big Dawn”. He also works as a session musician and music teacher. Special thanks goes to his family, Jill, Marcus, cast & crew for the fun and support.
Chris Sargent has been an active member of the Chicago music scene for more than fifteen (15) years as an arranger, musical director, and conductor. Credits include “Mamma Mia!” (2nd National, associate Conductor), “Dirty Dancing” (1st National Tour, Associate Conductor), “The Book of Mormon” (2nd National), “Beauty and the Beast” (Drury Lane Theatre - Oakbrook, IL, Musical Director), “Mary Poppins” (Drury Lane Theatre, conductor). In 2016, he MD’ed, sang, and rapped in a revue of 80’s pop music, “Reunion ’85”, at the Lone Tree Arts Center in Colorado. He was most recently Musical Director of Drury Lane’s “An American in Paris” (winner of four 2020 Jeff Awards).
Julian Lamarti, from New York, is pursuing a master’s in musical theater conducting at Arizona State University and holds a degree in music from Binghamton University, with emphasis on collaborative piano, orchestral conducting, and music directing. He would like to thank Marcus and Robin for bringing this inspiring project to ASU. Past performances at ASU include The Mad Ones (MD), Theory of Relativity (MD), Convergence - 2024 Color Cabaret (MD), Pippin (keyboard), The Pirates of Penzance (rehearsal pianist, ensemble).
Dani Deutschmann is a Phoenix based lighting designer for theatre, dance and opera. She received her MFA in Lighting Design from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and her BA in Theatre & Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dani is currently the Lighting Supervisor at Arizona State University for the School of Music, Dance & Theatre. She most recently designed Miss You Like Hell for MTO.
Kaycee Aldaz they/them (Stage Manager) is a second year theatre design and production major, with an emphasis in stage management. They have had a passion for all things theatre for eight years, and is honored to be apart of such a great show (and great cast). Kaycee was recently seen assistant directing Detroit ‘67 this past spring and will continue on to production stage manage From Tidworth, with Love later this fall.
