Identify potential brand partnerships for Gorillaz spanning various industries and craft a fresh and engaging social media strategy to enhance the company's online presence.
As a leading surf sponsorship agency, Gorillaz leverages its expertise in athlete management to connect brands with currently seven world class big wave surfers, kitesurfers, and skimboarders.
During the project's initial two weeks, the team diligently engaged in planning and identification processes. Throughout this phase, frequent communication with the founder was maintained to ensure that the chosen industries and brands resonated with her vision. Comprising four dedicated members, the team skillfully divided responsibilities, with three members dedicated to securing sponsors while the fourth one focused on devising an innovative social media strategy.
Planning Phase
Understanding the company's vision and getting to know Gorillaz' athelete portfolio in order to find fitting brands.
Research Deep Dive
Conducting brand research and consolidating information. Moreover, researching social media trends and mechanisms to have full transparency about the strategic positioning of Gorillaz in the athlete management niche.
