Turning a short-term redesign into a long-term, learner-centered product system across web, app, dashboards, and analytics.
Ta3limy is an online learning platform serving students, parents, and teachers. The platform was undergoing a strategic reset: new branding, wider audience, and ambitious growth goals.
My role: Product Designer
I led the UX revamp and gradually took on product design responsibilities, working closely with product and engineering teams on a weekly basis.

Different user roles and permissions
Scalability as content and users grow
Clear ownership between product, design, and engineering
The project began with a UX audit of the existing platform. The conclusion was clear:
The audit findings led to a business decision:
• Revisit UX foundations
• Rethink structure, flows, and mental models
• Align experience with long-term product goals
User research across students, parents & teachers
Benchmarking regional and global learning platforms
Defining learner personas and needs
Heavy reliance on visuals over titles when browsing
Need for exploration before commitment
Importance of progress, motivation, and parental visibility
Usability testing validated some assumptions and challenged others.
Example iteration highlights:
Navigation and tab structure became significantly easier after minimal exposure
Discoverability improved when topics were more visible and scrollable
Programs were understood conceptually, but interest depended on topic clarity
Clearer navigation and mental models
Improved discoverability and exploration
Stronger alignment between product, design, and engineering
A reusable UX philosophy supporting long-term growth
Platform stability across multiple iterations
I’m comfortable starting with ambiguity and evolving scope
I design frameworks, not just interfaces
I work long-term with product and engineering, not in handoff mode
I design for growth and iteration
