Alright. That 'All for One' concert reeks of 'we HAVE to get this going ASAP'. I understand the fans' concerns. I also understand Hololive's possible unease re: the ongoing socio-economic chaos in America.
I have a feeling that this concert was supposed to be held earlier in the year, only for the events precipitated by powerful figures in the US to cause a delay in preparations and the concert itself. They have booked Radio City as the venue and it's academic to think they fought hard to reserve that place. Having to pull out would've wasted them time, money and reputation.
'Could they have held it elsewhere outside the US?' Maybe, but America is home to the largest overseas Japanese culture-adjacent events, so it would be a no-brainer to hold a concert there. The majority of non-Asian HoloEN fans also happen to be American, and holding the concert in Canada may be a compromise alternative as holding it in Europe would force those fans to spend more on transport and such. Moving it to Japan (and perhaps close to the HoloGamers event) would entail reserving a venue there, which is a competition in itself, and then having to rally overseas fans into spending more to go there and watch. That probably won't sit well with some who already went to Japan for the annual HoloFes. But others would find this appealing as this arrangement could also improve attendances for the HoloGamers event + bragging rights.
All of this isn't practical if they could've just gone back to the US for the third time (as they eventually did), and during a business-friendly and global-friendly atmosphere in that country. Hindsight, of course, is 20/20.
I do think that Hololive could've either risked it and gone ahead with the original (maybe July-August as intended) concert plan in New York, or just cancel it altogether.
I can only hope that they can be transparent about it without inciting political nonsense among their fans. β

A take on relationships with Holomem: While it's fun and all that to label them as [insert gender here] because of some distant event that happened 10 years ago, or through their relationships with other people, it's premature to think that that all - or most - of them are straight, or of a different gender. This is yet another case of 'all X is Y' and Hololis/fans shoehorning their own agendas and opinions towards the talents just to make those talents like them. This applies to both ends of the 'gender debate' within the Hololive community. Until the talents explicitly come out as something else, just assume that all of them are good friends with everybody at the agency, and are tolerant and respectful of other people's personal choices - be it gender or anything else. I myself like it when they bond with each other, and I do like some pairs a lot, but I just view them as close friends and only include gender if they themselves explicitly say so. Who knows if they just want to be weird and not make some accidental socio-political statement?

Had it not been for their strong will and support, they wouldn't have the same level of success as they enjoy today. For at least once a month, put your phone and penlights down and let them be themselves. The best fans are the ones who throw their support in meaningful, tangible and healthy ways. And all in moderation - not all your money has to go to 'shrines', concerts, cosplays and other things that carry more weight than what your life can carry. Same for time spent promoting your oshi over the internet or over-analysing their relationships with others like it's a finals exam. Blend in with the crowd, but blend in with style. Other people will pick up your enthusiasm when you take a break, so that you can hop back in once you're ready. β

I think one Holo talent could hypothetically just break away from Holo and be managed directly under HoloPro. She's very popular, after all, and it would enable her to do many things otherwise difficult to do under HoloJP management while also remaining an affiliate so that she would still be able to join some Holo events. Roboco-san feels like the chill middle sibling (so middle-of-the road in age IRL) while Miko is the active middle child, leader-esque.
