Notes & Ratings for Airbnb is a browser extension that helps users privately rate Airbnb listings and view saved Airbnb Wishlist notes while browsing Airbnb.
Data handled by the extension
The extension may read limited content from Airbnb pages that is necessary for its features, including listing identifiers, listing titles, prices, Wishlist information, and Wishlist notes.
The extension also stores the user’s own like/dislike ratings and related listing information.
How data is used
This information is used only to:
associate ratings with the correct Airbnb listing;
display saved ratings while browsing Airbnb search results, listing pages, Wishlist pages, and map results; and
display saved Airbnb Wishlist notes on listing pages.
Data storage
All extension data is stored locally in the user’s browser using Chrome’s local extension storage.
The extension does not operate an external server or database for storing this information.
Data sharing
The extension does not sell, rent, share, or transfer user data to third parties.
The extension does not use user data for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes.
Personal information
The extension does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as names, email addresses, payment information, passwords, authentication credentials, health information, or precise location information.
Remote code and analytics
The extension does not execute remotely hosted code and does not include third-party analytics or tracking services.
Data deletion
Users can remove locally stored extension data by removing the extension or clearing the extension’s local storage.
