Thank you for using Notescanner. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.
Notescanner does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. All scanning happens locally on your device.
Notescanner does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs of any kind.
When you scan a document, the resulting PDF is created and stored locally and privately on your device, using Google's ML Kit Document Scanner (which processes images on-device / through Google Play Services — see "Third-Party Services" below).
Notescanner never uploads your scanned documents to any server operated by us.
Your documents are shared only when you explicitly choose to send them, using your own email app. That sharing happens directly between your device and the email app you select — Notescanner does not see, store, or have access to the content of that email.
Notescanner uses Google's ML Kit Document Scanner (part of Google Play Services) to power the scanning feature. This component runs on your device and is subject to Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Notescanner does not request camera or storage permissions directly. The scanning feature is provided through Google Play Services, which handles camera access using its own system-level permissions.
Notescanner does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, because it does not collect information at all.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
