Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create or use an account, Notely may collect:
• Name
• Email address
• User account identifier
• Sign-in provider information, such as email login, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple
• Profile photo, if you choose to add one
This information is used to create and manage your account, authenticate you, support sign-in features, and show your profile inside the app.
Notes, Reminders, and App Content
Notely allows you to create and manage notes, checklists, folders, reminders, tags, private notes, image attachments, and voice notes.
Most note content, folders, reminders, checklist items, images attached to notes, and voice recordings are stored locally on your device. This content is used to provide the app’s core note-taking, organizing, search, reminder, and private note features.
Profile Photos
If you choose to add a profile photo, Notely may access the photo you select from your device. The selected image may be compressed, stored locally, and uploaded to Firebase/Firestore so it can appear in your account profile.
Microphone and Voice Notes
If you create voice notes, Notely may request microphone access. Audio recordings are used only to create and play voice notes inside the app.
Photos
If you attach an image to a note or choose a profile photo, Notely may access only the photos you select. Selected images are used to provide image attachment and profile photo features.
Face ID and PIN
Notely may use Face ID and/or a PIN to help unlock private notes or locked folders. Face ID authentication is handled by your device. Notely does not receive or store your Face ID biometric data.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Notely may request notification permission. Notifications are used to remind you at the times you schedule.
Purchase Information
If you purchase a subscription, Notely may receive subscription status and purchase entitlement information from Apple in order to unlock premium features and restore purchases. Notely does not collect your payment card number, bank account information, or other direct payment credentials. Purchases are processed by Apple.
Analytics
Notely may use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage, improve features, and maintain app performance. Analytics may include:
• Screen views
• App interactions
• Feature usage
• Search terms entered in the app
• Note creation type, such as text note, checklist, or voice note
• Reminder settings, such as repeat rule and notification status
• Subscription-related events
• App-instance or device-level identifiers used for analytics
Analytics data helps us improve Notely, understand which features are useful, and fix product issues. We do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
• Create and manage user accounts
• Authenticate users and support sign-in
• Provide notes, checklists, reminders, folders, voice notes, and private notes
• Save and display profile information

Data Storage
Some information is stored locally on your device, including notes, checklists, folders, reminders, voice recordings, attachments, app preferences, and private note data.

We may share information with service providers that help operate Notely, including:
• Firebase services for authentication, profile photo storage, and analytics
• Google Sign-In services if you choose Google login
• Apple services for Sign in with Apple, subscriptions, Face ID, notifications, and App Store purchases
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.
We do not share your personal information for third-party targeted advertising or cross-app tracking.
Your Choices
You can:
• Choose whether to create an account
• Choose whether to sign in with email, Google, or Apple
• Choose whether to add a profile photo
• Choose whether to allow microphone access
• Choose whether to allow notifications
• Choose whether to use Face ID
• Remove or change your profile photo
• Delete notes, reminders, folders, recordings, and other content inside the app
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple subscription settings
You may request account or data deletion by contacting us using the support contact listed on the app’s App Store product page.
Children’s Privacy
Notely is not intended for children under the age permitted by the App Store age rating. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
