Field Study Subject Biography
Hello! My name is Kristoffer D. Cawaling and I am currently fourth-year student at Polytechnic University of the Philippines Quezon City branch, taking a Bachelor of Business Technology and Livelihood Education major in Information and Communication technology. He achieved TESDA National Certificate III Visual Graphic Design on August 17, 2018, and was trained by my teacher that now one of our critique teachers Mrs. Jhona Rabi.
During my field study, I chose the school where I graduated high school (North Fairview High School) and I’m being familiar with the environment, facilities, and teachers who were my teachers before. It gives me a feel of nostalgia because I use to be their student but now, I am being a pre-service teacher and they still guide and advise me to my journey.
Beliefs on Teaching and Learning (Pre and Post FS)
During my field study I’m having time to communicate with students gives me an opportunity to connect and to know more about them. In that way being a teacher, I can help, provide, and guide them to righteousness and motivate them to continue their dreams. The advice from my critique teacher is to always make adjustments for the students if they haven’t understood the lesson.

During my field study I was able to see the responsibilities of being a teacher to my critique teacher, because he inspire and always being kind teacher to the students and I was able to acquire that character by having time to listen and communicate with students and being respectful at the same time. Always show patience and don’t giving up to the students who shows no interest in learning, because one of the duty of being a teacher is to guide the students on righteosness and make difference in their life.
