I am the proud coach of The Northern Knights Robotics Team. I strive to teach each of my students how to work with one another to create a cohesive team. I also strive to work with the community and my team to change the way that we think about robotics for the better. The Northern Knights are a team of 11 members aged 14-18.
We strive to work together, leave a lasting positive impact, and better our community.
As the only FRC Team in the state of Alaska, our mission is to represent our amazing state and, second, spread the mission of FIRST and STEM across our community.
We are always interested in making our robot
better, and we love to ask questions! Our coaches
and mentors strive to make us a better team and community.
We love creative ideas, and it is something that
always encourages us. We create better
futures through innovation and love to help
the community grow better technology and live better lives through robotics.

2026
We went to compete at our first-ever FRC competition. We ended up winning on the top alliance and qualified for Worlds in Houston, Texas. Both of these things have never been achieved before by a rookie team from Alaska.
2025
We were invited to do a robotics demonstration at the ConocoPhillips Company Picnic on the 26th of June of 2025. we had lots of fun as the community came out and got to experence the world of FIRST robotics first hand!
