Shared Headship Schools Network

About the Network

Our aim is for members to connect, engage in regular facilitated professional dialogue and develop relationships across schools and local authorities.

The network aims to: 

•  Facilitate peer support partnerships for those in shared headship roles.

• Increase sharing of knowledge, practice resources and information related to the role 

• Increase opportunities for naturally occurring and deliberate collaboration to occur between members, schools and settings across the RIC.  

• Support innovation to further improve outcomes for children and young people.

• Identify and meet CLPL needs for those both in and aspiring to shared headship.  

The network events will be linked to themes that participants feel they would benefit from connecting and sharing practice around. An initial Forms survey and regular feedback through the evaluation process will inform this.  

Target Audience: This is intended for school leaders with responsibility for 2 or more schools.
